Service parallel to Eco-Challenge

We design tailor-made programs according to your specific needs. An example of this is the joint work with Discovery Channel, in 1999, when the Eco Challenge took place in Nahuel Huapi National Park.

Within the framework of the competition, there were activities carried out simultaneously for a VIP group formed by the station’s main sponsors, with the aim of giving them awards. Extremo Sur was in charge of organizing these activities.

The intention was for the guests to enjoy and share the geographical space and activities with the participants, when the park was closed. In order to follow the competition stages closely, on the days previous to the start they took paddling lessons, while the participants trained and tried their equipment. They took part in the start, and the most interesting moment was during trip where they combined one hour trekking in the woods from Brazo Machete to Lake Gallardo, the catering provided by Hostería Las Balsas Relais & Chateaux and the trip on board duckies in Lake Gallardo and Machete River, thus closing and exclusive and extremely attractive circuit.

Our instructors, who were the group hosts, gave the best of themselves, accompanying them in this unforgettable experience and sharing their passion: Patagonian waters.
